For the 650,000-square-foot Gypsum Board Line Manufacturing Facility, Walbridge developed approximately 70 acres of existing farmland and built a brand-new facility.

The complex includes a paper warehouse, mill building, board line, board warehouse, synthetic gypsum storage shed and an administration facility that utilizes waste-generated synthetic gypsum from a neighboring power plant and recycled paper to generate high-quality wall board.

Employee facilities encompass 44,350 square feet of the facility and include administration space, break rooms, locker rooms, conference areas and training rooms.

The project scope included the offsite development of a sanitary waste line, 18 miles of natural gas line and five miles of railroad lines. The visual commissioning procedure Walbridge implemented on this project resulted in the best launch United States Gypsum has had with new process start up.
