Walbridge was hired to provide design/build services to convert 81,600 square feet of warehouse space and a new 17,000-square-foot mezzanine into office space, conference rooms, collaborative areas, copy areas, toilet facilities, pantry, and other IT Support spaces.
A total of 580 workstations were installed as well as a raised floor system throughout the warehouse. All mechanical and utility systems were added, as well as security access control systems and cameras at all employee entrances. Electrical, fire protection and fire alarm systems were also updated.
A 429-space parking lot was constructed and connected to an existing parking lot. The work included a 27-foot tall stacked masonry retaining wall along the west side of the new parking lot and special bio-retention area to treat storm runoff on site.
