Walbridge provided management and self-performed construction services for 19 technical, research, development and office facilities within the Ford Research and Engineering Center in Dearborn, Mich., awarded through Ford’s Construction Commodity Management (CCM) Program.
Walbridge coordinated with the UAW skilled trades on the job and managed all scope development, value engineering, budgeting, release processing, detailed engineering coordination, scheduling, procurement, permitting, site management and supervision, construction, start-up, commissioning, furnishing, finishing and completion of all building and site-related construction requirements for the site.
The project also involved site and infrastructure work, including as roads, tunnels and cooling ponds.
