Walbridge was selected to build this extraordinary hotel at Detroit Metro Airport as part of a team that included developer Darryl Berger Companies, Inc., Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Inc., and PFVS Architects.

The hotel includes 390 rooms and assorted suites, 22 conference rooms, a 7,500-square-foot ballroom, restaurant and bar. It also includes an all-inclusive fitness center with pool, exercise equipment, saunas and whirlpool.

The $69.8 million project included 18 stories of reinforced concrete, featuring an 8-story atrium with fountain. The hotel is attached to the airport’s McNamara Terminal, providing easy access for travelers via a convenient security entrance inside the lobby.
