Cereal Partners Worldwide (CPW) is a joint venture between Nestlé and General Mills. For its Mustang project in Jalisco, CPW hired Walbridge to conduct civil work and equipment installation at an existing Nestlé complex in the city of Lagos de Moreno.
The project consists of 139,930 square feet (13,000 square meters) of new construction, 113,021 square feet (10,500 square meters) of new roadways and parking lots, and installing and relocating various equipment systems throughout the complex. New construction included three process buildings, a cold press room, press shop and waste management area. The work was carried out in four phases.
In June 2014, the project team participated in a World Environment Day cleanup, where it collected 1 ton of rubbish from areas surrounding the Nestlé plant.
