In order to meet growing demand for high-performing corn seed products, Walbridge was contracted by Bayer to erect two 10-bin Super Dryer Extensions and an 80-bin 500,000 Bushel Addition to an existing Bulk Storage Facility.
Scope of work included all steelwork, gas piping, electrical and painting. Both the bulk storage and dryer extensions consisted of a lower bin structure topped by a pre-engineered head house to shelter the tripper/fill conveyors. The dryers also had a lean-to on each side to house gas burner/fan units.
