Walbridge has worked for clients steadily in Mexico since undertaking its first project in 1981. Under the guidance of veteran General Manager Jose J. Haro, the Walbridge de Mexico team is filled with experienced and talented operations, administrative, procurement, business development and technical professionals.
The team has experience constructing facilities for clients in these industries: automotive manufacturing and tier suppliers, food and beverage, aeronautics, chemical and industrial.
Currently, Walbridge de Mexico is overseeing large construction projects for two global automotive manufacturers and a tier supplier. Geographic experience in the country spans from Baja California and Chihuahua states in the north to Campeche state in the southern region of Mexico.
Outstanding safety program performance at Walbridge de Mexico projects in Irapuato and Chihuahua in 2016 helped earned Walbridge a World Excellence Award from Ford Motor Company. Walbridge received the award for “demonstration of safety leadership” in Ford’s Safety brand pillar category.
