GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Walbridge was named among the Best & Brightest Sustainable Companies of 2016, both on the national level and in the state of Michigan, by the National Association for Business Resources.
It was the third-straight year Walbridge has received national recognition and the fourth-straight year at the state level.
A Winners Reception was held Nov. 2 at the Grand Rapids Brewing Co. in Grand Rapids, Mich. A total of 34 companies received awards as Michigan sustainable companies; 11 of those companies also earned national recognition.
Winning companies are noted for leadership efforts and innovative approaches to sustainability, including utilizing materials and processes that minimize waste, are environmentally friendly, and reduce the consumption of resources.
The National Association for Business Resources, established in 1996, fosters a collaborative environment in which companies and leaders learn best practices, trends and vital information benefiting the company, its employees and other stakeholders.
