Subcontractor

A company that will provide or perform labor on a project site with or without material, tools and equipment to perform a specific task as a part of the overall project. This classification also includes Testing and/or Consulting firms that will have onsite sampling, testing and commissioning services.

All companies in this classification will perform some type of On-site Labor

New / Existing User

Vendor / Supplier

A Company that provides goods or services without providing any Project onsite labor to perform a specific task as part of the overall project. This includes but is not limited to the following:

A manufacturer, distributor, supplier of equipment, parts, raw materials (steel, lumber, concrete, etc.) or businesses that provide services like transportation, packaging, facility maintenance, rental equipment (equipment only, no labor) or commissioning services. This classification includes any other services that don’t fit in the other categories.

These vendors will not perform any on-site trade labor as part of the overall construction or tooling project. If you do, you must refer to Subcontractor.

New / Existing User

Architect / Engineer

A firm with registered professional(s) capable of designing and sealing design documents for a discipline(s) and are generally the designer of record for said discipline(s), but do not provide onsite construction labor. This does not include firms whose function is to generate shop or detail fabrication drawings for subcontractors.

The system pulls information from our databases, and it provides real-time, accurate project information on everything from outstanding RFIs, to submittal package status and drawing package updates – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from anywhere in the world. We provide training to all team members free of charge and employ full-time project controls personnel to assist in system administration.

Advancements in laptop and mobile hand-held device technology have brought PC tablets and other innovative tools to the forefront of construction technology. With the use of these devices, drawings can be redlined, specifications can be referenced or punch lists can be updated in the field, saving hours in information transfer.

When selected by the owner and project team, this value-add system assures you are present through final stages of start-up. Your work receives final sign-off from customers, resulting in fewer call backs to the site – saving you time and money. The system assures you will know exactly when the job will be complete.

First, you must complete our Pre-qualification form. We also recommend that you remain proactive by checking our Bid Agenda regularly and contact the appropriate estimator on projects of interest.

The form provides the necessary information including company type, size and location to help us match your organization to the contracted service or task requirements. Using this information, a determination is made regarding your company’s eligibility to participate in current or future projects.

Your completed form will be reviewed by our pre-qualification administrator for completeness, honesty and accuracy. It will then be forwarded to the appropriate department head for approval, based on the task or service required.

Not necessarily; it depends on scope of work. We ask that all subcontractors list their bonding rate on their proposals.

This is not necessary. Your company will be integrated into our internal database once you have completed a pre-qualification form.
