Walbridge provided site and civil foundation packages, material handling and system equipment installation packages as general contractor on AEP’s John E. Amos Power Plant Project in Winfield, W.V.

The site and civil packages included more than 53,000 cubic yards of concrete foundation, 3,200 tons of rebar, caissons, auger piles and anchor bolts. The $35 million scope also included the installation of equipment for the plant’s barge unloading, dust suppression, conveyor, fire protection, sump pump and ventilation systems.
