Walbridge Wins Safety Award at Fort Benning
Project team receives honors for "Serious About Safety" commitment

FORT BENNING, Ga.-February 6, 2008—The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District presented Walbridge with its Prime Contractor Safety Award for outstanding performance on the Fort Benning Special Operations Forces Regimental Headquarters Building.  Walbridge was recognized for execution of an extremely effective safety program in the fourth quarter of 2008 in accordance with the Savannah District’s Serious About Safety recognition program.

 

“We commend your entire on-site staff and subcontractors for this accomplishment.  We also thank you for providing a safe work environment for all personnel on your construction site,” said Area Engineer and Chairman of the Fort Benning Safety Committee, George P. Condoyiannis, “This requires a great deal of daily commitment, dedication and focus on your part and I urge you to keep up the outstanding results.”

 

As a quarterly winner, Walbridge is eligible to receive a 2008 safety award at the Savannah District’s annual Serious About Safety Conference and Awards Banquet.
