Our projects include agricultural, automotive, building product, solar technology and general manufacturing facilities. Our steel and metals experience includes foundries, steel mills, stamping, pressed and cast metals manufacturing facilities.
Walbridge has constructed state-of-the-art technical centers and research and development facilities, including dynamometers, experimental labs, wind tunnels, simulators and environmental chambers. We also have specialized experience in utility and central energy buildings, distribution centers and warehouses, including service centers, logistics and consolidation centers, storage and retrieval systems and intermodal freight. We’ve helped our clients build facilities in the United States, Canada, Mexico and India.
We are leaders in advancing lean construction practices and continuous improvement techniques within the construction industry. Our Lessons Learned database contains more than 3,000 ideas derived from past projects. We make this information available on a shared database throughout our organization. Walbridge is dedicated to creating sustainable workplaces and has experience building LEED® certified manufacturing facilities, including construction of one of the world’s largest green roofs at the Ford Rouge Complex in Dearborn, Michigan.
