Raleigh Michigan Motion Picture Studios in Pontiac, Michigan, was built on the site of a former General Motors manufacturing facility and technology campus. The studio's 200,000 square feet of production space are already in full use for the filming of the major motion picture "Oz, The Great and Powerful," a prequel to "The Wizard of Oz." Directed by Sam Raimi and starring James Franco as the Wizard of Oz, this Disney motion picture is scheduled for release in spring 2013.
The University of Michigan’s North Quadrangle Residential and Academic Complex is a $152 million living and learning center featuring a 10-story residential tower accommodating 450 students, a seven-story academic building and a lower level connecting the two. It features the newest communications and energy saving technology. It is the winner of a 2010 “Build Michigan Award” from the Associated General Contractors of Michigan.
The Tampa Bay History Center in Tampa, Florida is the first Hillsborough County-owned LEED®certified building.
